Viva Venezuela - Chavez and after!

This account is of a trip to Venezuela whose main purpose to take stock of the Food Sovereignty ideal of the Venezuelan state. The Bolivarian Republic established by Chavez had tried to stress the need for food self-sufficiency. In addition, there were the community and state forms of ownership to provide services for the people - medicare, housing, foodstuff etc.
These pages here contain a wide variety of pictures from different short trips among various communities. The idea is to get a feel of the country after Chavez had passed away - and how the community-driven changes were progressing. The larger-than-life presence of Chavez still lingered as also a sense of the revolutionary. But this could of course be a limited view of things...

The images, then, are split over three parts, three pages, as there are so many of them. There will be repetitions. It might even be slightly overwhelming. But never boring, it is hoped!
